How do we want to live together?
With this Code of Co-living we want to open a space of resonance for the Mesh-Festival of Art and Technology:
How can we live together?
It is important to us that all visitors feel as comfortable as possible at the Mesh-Festival. Therefore, we are addressing the question of mutual awareness and consideration.
As a visitor, you are part of this event and thus responsible for the well-being of other people.
We want to create a safer space in which everyone feels welcome.
How do we treat each other?
- Mutual considerateness and supportive collaboration, solidarity, and respect.
- Mindful and appreciative interaction with each other.
- No discrimination, for example based on gender, gender identity, age, race, ethnicity, socio-economic situation, language, religion, disability, neurodivergence or sexual orientation.
- No form of bullying, inappropriate physical contact, unwanted sexual attention or violent behavior.
- Use gender-inclusive, anti-discriminatory language and respect individual pronouns.
- Use a content note when reproducing potentially sensitive content.
- No unconsidered cultural appropriation.
- Let each other finish speaking, pay attention to the sequence of speakers and the amount of space taken up in discussions.
- Be willing to learn from each other and to accept, reflect on and integrate feedback.
Thank you for sharing the responsibility for our spaces today.
If you feel uncomfortable or need help, the awareness-team is there for you.
