In the work «Island», video recordings, photographs, photogrammetry models, digital 3D drawings, and sound recordings of natural environments are manipulated in the digital space and woven into a cohesive whole.
Biography
In 2002 Dirk Koy graduated from the Academy of Art and Design in Basel (HGK Basel) after completing a course in the field of Visual Communication.
He founded the office «Dirk Koy Bild und Bewegung», which focus on Experimental Film and Motion Graphics and he has also been working as a lecturer for Time Based Media since 2011, at the HGK Basel.
