In this talk, artist and producer Beatrice Dillon will introduce the audience to her artistic practice. After the presentation, talk will be moderated by Svetlana Maraš, and followed by the Q&A with the audience.
Biography
Beatrice Dillon is a London-based artist and music producer working with sound, performance and installation. She's been an active member of the international experimental music community for well over a decade with a long list of solo projects, collaborators and releases to her credit. Dillon has performed and presented her work at leading arts institutions across Europe, UK, Japan, North America. Her last solo album ‘Workaround' (PAN, 2020) was named ‘Album of the Year’ by The Wire Magazine.

'Seven Reorganisations’, a new work for UK experimental classical group Explore Ensemble (2022) explores acoustic re-imaginings of digital synthesis and generative processes. Originally commissioned by artist Mark Fell, the work premiered at Sheffield Cathedral No Bounds and later Kings Place London, ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe and SchlossMediale Werdenberg (2022-24).
She is a recipient of Artangel's 'Thinking Time' Award (2020).
